De omgeving waar ik me in bevind is mijn grootste inspiratiebron. Ik probeer momenten vast te leggen, maar niet geheel onbezonnen. Op jacht naar waar het verleden en de toekomst en het heden samen komen en alleen dat moment zegeviert.
Met de camera in de hand schiet ik mijn doel vast. Deze waarborg in een archief van negatieven. En keer daar steeds naar terug, geef het een kans om op zichzelf te shinen of ga op zoek naar motivatie en inzicht. Vanuit deze bron put ik gedichten, teksten, illustraties en soms videos, shirts of misschien compleet nieuwe media.
Mijn werk is altijd een ode.
The surroundings where I find myself at is my biggest source of inspiration. I try to capture moments, but not without giving it any thought. On the hunt for where the past and the future and the present meet and nothing else matters for that moment.
With a camera in my hand I shoot my goal. I cherish these in an archive of negative film. Where I always return to, giving it a chance to shine all on its own or look for motivation and perspective.
From this source I draw poems, text, illustrations and sometimes videos, shirts or maybe completely new media.
